What a lovely way to remember your sister!! I have 2 Crepe Myrtles in my yard and they are so easy!! thank goodness!!

Oh, Chloe, wow... really, really, really moving post.

Chloe, this is lovely. I think it's a wonderful thing to plant trees in memory of loved ones; when I built my garden this spring two of the trees were in memory of my late paternal grandparents who were passionate gardeners. We have gorgeous Crape Myrtles around here, just starting to take off...will think of you and your sister now whenever I see one!

This is a wonderful blog entry. YOur words of thoughtfulness has touched my heart.

I am wonder if we can grow these Crape Myrtles in my zone 5?! Off to see what I can find.

Bless you - your a dear person to share such wonderful memories of your best friend. (((HUGS)))

Absolutely beautiful!! I love Crape Myrtles. What a beautiful idea to plant for a loved one.
