Would you like to ride in my beautiful balloon?

I am working on a perennial garden this week that has balloon flowers in the design. When mentioning this to my friend, Harlee, she said, "What is a balloon flower?" SO here it is.. Balloon flowers are perennial that start out as little puffer balls that literally pop open in your garden. The blues are so brilliantly blue. I LOVE them!!!! They also are available in white and a pale pink.

Those flowers are absolutely gorgeous... I love the pictures and I would agree that the blues are extremely brilliant. These would make for some incredible last touches to a landscaping project
